Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from Zilzie's organic vineyard were harvested in the warmth of the afternoon to assist fermentation and colour extraction. Fermented on skins for 7 days then gently pressed. Several months on malolactic fermentation in French oak. The wine was then blended, filtered and bottled. Hints of oaky spice with soft blackberry and currants. This is smooth and easy drinking. Don't wait - best enjoyed young.
