Made from fruit sourced from our own and neighbours vineyards in Eden Valley. Blending is the high point of winemaking in many ways, when it works the whole is worth more than the sum of the parts. For me the Merlot parcel has always stood out giving a distinctly plummy nose, the rest follow on to crowd the mouth in a bustling riot of flavours. A most food friendly style.

Colour: Crimson magentaAroma: Red forest fruits, tobacco leaf, black stone fruits.Palate: Bright fruit, nice depth and complexity, acidity will see it age with grace and fortitude.Summary: Eden Valley is suited to varieties that evolved in this part of France, cool enough to give varietal definition and warm enough for consistent ripening. This blend has stood the test of time and continues to work well.
