The 2017 vintage had a cool year start with a very hot finish allowing the grapes to ripen with lots of flavour and natural acidity. The harvest produced quite small berries which resulted in very intense flavours. About 30% of the wine was matured in oak barrels for up to 4 months and then blended with the balance of the batch.
